Broken Instruments – Baggaley & Varnam

Baggaley and Varnam are a new partnership in homespun performance. Their back-to-basics acoustic set of cleverly embroidered songs and stories are winning them many friends all around the Midlands.
They will be presenting original songs and stories together with their latest project Broken Instruments. It tells the moving story of Ari Vander, luthier, musician, and Holocaust survivor and follows his life before, during and after WW2. A tale of love and how the power of music can unite souls and restore hope when all seems lost. The spoken word gives flight to our imagination and music takes us to greater heights.
